Jeff has been a tournament fisher for many years. A few years ago even fishing the PWT. He participates in many tourneys every summer and fall fishing walleyes and muskes.
Jeff loves to share his love for fishing with his grandson, Ian. Just as his dad and grandpa passed on the passion to him, he is enjoying the next level of fishing with Ian, tournaments.
They have fished the local walleye tournament several years in a row now. This year the tournament is being held in early summer, June 5th and 6th. It is limited to 150 boats with an entry fee of $300 per team and has a first prize of $12,000! Now there's a reason to go fishing!
The proceeds go to local non-profit organizations.

Nothing is more enjoyable than fishing with the next generation. Jeff and Ian spend lots of hours in the Yar-Craft each summer fishing Leech Lake.
A nice "chop" produces a nice walleye for Ian.
